Special Event
Bring your toddlers to Life for one of our special themed pre school days for a memorable fun day out.
Life will be turned over to babies and toddlers for a day full of activities designed especially for them. Each day has a special theme so each event will be different.
PRE SCHOOL DATES AND THEMES:
September 15th 2009 (theme: Dinosaurs)
November 17th 2009 (theme: Snow and Ice. This includes a chance to experience our ice rink*)
January 19th 2010 (theme: Animals)
March 2nd 2010 (theme: My Body)
May 4th 2010 (theme: Growing)
Group session: September 16th 2009 (theme: Dinosaurs)
Other activities on offer include musical workshops with Piccolo Music**; mini beast handling, water tables and a toddler disco.
Admission costs £5 per adult and accompanying children aged 4 and under are free. The Centre will open from 9.30am - 3pm. No booking required - pay on arrival at reception.
**Spaces in the Piccolo Music workshops are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Sign up at reception.
A separate groups morning designed for those coming in a ‘group’ whether it’s a nursery outing or a group of 10 friends or more will be held on September 16th. Open from 9.30am - 11.30 am. Admission costs £2 per child and accompanying adults go free. To make a booking for the group session please call (0191) 243 8223.
Please note: For all sessions, we advise that the ratio should be 1 adult to a maximum of 3 children. Adults are responsible for the supervision and safety of the children in their care at all times. Piccolo** will not be present on the groups morning, but other musical activities will be on offer. Ice rink* activities are weather dependent and every two children must be accompanied by one adult on the ice.
